Stripe integration

Modified on Wed, 18 May 2022 at 07:41 AM

Zuddl partners with Stripe to enable you to securely accept payments from customers for all your paid events. You can easily connect your active Stripe account to Zuddl and begin creating paid tickets.

At the time of registration, users are redirected to Stripe’s payment collection page where they proceed with the checkout for an amount based on the selected ticket tier. Once the entire checkout process is complete, users can log in when the event is live.

Note: Zuddl does not store any customer payment information as the payment processing is completely handled by Stripe’s end. Zuddl can view your account data (such as all payment and payout history) and any information from other businesses you've connected. It’ll also be able to create new payments and take other actions for you.

Connecting your Stripe account

Before you start adding a paid ticket tier, you must establish a connection between your active Stripe account and your Zuddl account. Once connected, you can easily create your paid ticket tiers.

Prerequisites

To create paid tickets for your events, you must have an active Stripe account.

Create a Stripe account or refer to the Stripe onboarding guideAdditionally, ensure that you have all necessary privileges to log in/create a Stripe account.

Follow the below steps to connect your Stripe account:

Steps to Connect

  1. On your Zuddl dashboard, go to Ticket Type > Tickets.

  2. Click on the “Connect with Stripe” button.

This will initiate the Stripe login flow.

Note: Alternatively, you can find the Connect with Stripe button in Profile Settings Teams.

  1. Enter the login credentials for the account registered on Stripe.image.png

  2. Verify your login using a 6-digit code sent to your registered phone number. If you’ve created Stripe accounts with the same email used in Zuddl and are also currently logged into your Stripe account, Steps 3 and 4 will be skipped. Once logged in, all the accounts available to connect with Zuddl are listed.

You can also click Create a new account button to initiate Stripe’s sign-up flow to create a fresh account and connect it with Zuddl. Refer to the Stripe onboarding guide

Once you have connected your account, Zuddl automatically fetches your unique ID from Stripe for that account and successfully completes the connection.

Verifying the connection

Your unique Stripe account Id appears in the Tickets tab as shown below:

You can also find the same in the Teams view under Profile Settings.
